Junior Marketing Designer
We are looking for a motivated Junior Marketing Designer to join our Internal Communications team and support the creation of engaging, on-brand visual materials for internal audiences. This is an entry-level role focused on design production, visual consistency, and applying established brand guidelines and templates to a variety of communication materials. The successful candidate will work closely with senior designers, communicators, and internal stakeholders, receive guidance throughout the design process, and have an opportunity to develop their visual design skills in a corporate environment.
Responsibilities
- Create visual materials for internal communications, including banners, presentation slides, digest visuals, newsletters, and Teams event graphics
- Apply existing EPAM brand guidelines, templates, and design systems consistently across internal communication materials
- Adapt Light/Dark Mode presentation templates, master decks, digest layouts, and other established formats to new content
- Support the creation and maintenance of Confluence and Wearecomunity page layouts and visual assets
- Translate content briefs from communicators into clear, visually consistent design solutions under the guidance of a senior designer or Team Lead
- Ensure deliverables meet established quality and brand standards, including correct fonts, colors, logo usage, spacing, alignment, and layout grids
- Prepare and maintain source files and supporting documentation, including file naming and versioning, with guidance as needed
- Collaborate closely with communicators, the IC Team Lead, and internal stakeholders such as HR, PEx, and ESG
- Present design drafts internally when needed and participate in team reviews
- Incorporate feedback from the Team Lead and senior designers and iterate on designs accordingly
- Manage assigned production tasks and meet deadlines for recurring deliverables such as weekly digests and event assets
- Proactively communicate potential timeline or delivery risks to the Team Lead
- Continuously develop design skills, stay informed about EPAM brand updates, and explore relevant design trends and examples
Requirements
- Practical experience with industry-standard design tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and PowerPoint/Office design tools
- Foundational knowledge of visual design, composition, typography, color, and layout
- Experience participating in a design process under the guidance of a senior designer, mentor, or Team Lead
- Experience applying an established visual identity, brand templates, or design systems to new content
- Ability to work accurately with existing templates and follow established design guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to visual consistency and quality
- Ability to organize design files and maintain basic file naming, versioning, and source-file standards
- Ability to collaborate effectively with communicators and internal stakeholders and respond constructively to feedback
- Ability to manage multiple assigned tasks and meet recurring deadlines
- A portfolio demonstrating foundational visual design and layout skills
- Willingness and ability to quickly learn EPAM brand guidelines, Light/Dark Mode presentation templates, and internal communications formats
- Good written and verbal English communication skills (B2 level or higher)
Nice to have
- Experience in internal communications, corporate design, or a similar business environment
- Experience creating presentations, newsletters, digests, event graphics, or other corporate communication materials
- Familiarity with Confluence, Teams, or similar internal communication platforms
- Basic understanding of presentation design and information hierarchy
- Interest in developing skills in corporate and internal communications design
- Experience working with established design systems or corporate brand guidelines
