Junior Mechanical Design & Digital Innovation Engineer

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a motivated Junior Mechanical Design & Digital Innovation Engineer to join the Agordo engineering team. You will develop metal components, manage 3D CAD models, and drive digital tools to improve efficiency and support digital transformation.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Manufacturing and Industrialization, with a strong focus on automation, AI-based initiatives, and continuous improvement across engineering workflows.

Design and develop metal components and assemblies with technical feasibility. Create and manage 3D CAD models and technical drawings. Collaborate with Manufacturing and Industrialization teams during development. Develop digital tools to improve efficiency and operations. Drive digitalization and automation initiatives within Engineering. Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field. Proficiency with 3D CAD and mechanical design principles. Interest in digitalization, automation, and AI technologies. Good command of English. Experience with Python, VBA, Matlab is a plus.
