Position Description
- CAD drafting and document control for the Mechanical Engineering Group
- Create 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D CAD models
- Perform mechanical design work on established product lines and maintain standard product BOM’s
- Interface with Planning, Manufacturing and Procurement on projects
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation from a standard senior high school or equivalent
- Associate’s degree or equivalent; or five to ten years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination or education and experience
- SolidWorks training and experience
- Experience with or interface with machine shop, Sheetmetal, welding and mechanical assembly
- Knowledge of standard drafting practices
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret applicable drawings, technical specifications, and applicable documents
- Ability to comprehend and apply principles of mechanical design, mathematics and computer aided design
- Knowledge of and experience with modern mechanical manufacturing and assembly
- Ability to effectively present information to teams or similar peer groups

- Knowledgeable and efficient using SolidWorks
