Summary
The Embedded Linux Software Engineer will develop software for IoT networking devices, including routers and gateways, using C and Linux-based build systems like Yocto or Buildroot. The role involves working closely with hardware and solving complex technical challenges within an industrial connectivity environment.
We are looking for a Junior/Mid Embedded Linux developer to strengthen our developers team in Vilnius, Lithuania. You will work with the leading networking solutions in the world and master your skills.
Teltonika’s networking solutions business unit develops and manufactures industrial and enterprise connectivity equipment, primarily routers, switches, gateways, and modems. Our networking devices serve clients in the most complex areas of Industry 4.0, Smart City, and Green Energy.
In this role, you will:
- Developing software for IoT devices
- Solving complex tasks
- Analyzing and developing new technologies

What we expect of you:
- Experience working with software for Linux-based embedded devices.
- Experience working with Linux OS (buildroot/Yocto).
- 1+ year of C programming experience.
- Experience solving software and hardware-related issues.
- Understanding of operating system principles.
- Knowledge of computer networks.

Salary
We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 17 Eur/h up to 34 Eur/h (~2856 Eur— 5678 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise.
*In an employment agreement, we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
