Role Profile: Junior Migration Specialist / Migration Operations Associate

• Target Background: Fresher with B.Tech/B.E. (CS/IT), BCA, MCA, or B.Sc. (Computer Science/IT).
• Workstream: Track 2 (SharePoint Migration)
• Core Function: Execute detail-heavy component re-creation from source M365 SharePoint sites to target Google Sites and Google Shared Drives.

Core Daily Responsibilities

• Page Layout & Text Recreation: Rebuild SharePoint modern/classic pages in Google Sitestransferring headings, body copy, layouts, and embedded banners.
• Web-Part & Asset Remapping:
• Download and upload embedded media (images, PDFs, documents) to designated target Google Shared Drive asset folders.
• Recreate SharePoint document library web-parts as embedded Google Drive folder/file widgets.
• Re-link quick links, hero buttons, and navigation bars to new Google Workspace URLs.
• List & FAQ Transformation: Manually export custom SharePoint lists and replicate them into Google Sheets or structured Google Sites table/card views.
• Link Remediation & QA Check: Run validation checklists against the pre-migration discovery sheet to confirm every internal document link, image source, and contact button works and does not point back to legacy M365 URLs.
• Status Tracking: Log completed components in the migration tracking sheet (e.g., Jira / Smartsheet / Google Sheets) with status flags (Ready for Review, Blocked by Missing Asset, QA Complete).
