Junior Motion Graphics Artist / Editor
Threads n Co is looking for a Junior Motion Graphics Artist / Editor to join our post-production team. The role will focus mainly on motion graphics, while supporting video editing and post-production work when required.
Job Description
Motion Graphics and Animation
- Create 2D animations, titles, infographics, transitions and other visual assets.
- Turn scripts and complex information into clear and engaging animated sequences.
- Develop style frames and motion graphics based on each project’s creative direction and brand guidelines.
Compositing and Visual Effects
- Handle basic motion tracking, masking, rotoscoping and green-screen compositing.
- Create screen replacements, interface animations and simple visual clean-ups.
- Combine footage, text and graphics into cohesive visual sequences.
Video Editing
- Edit corporate, branded, event and social media videos when required.
- Add music, sound effects, basic colour correction and motion graphics.
- Adapt videos into different durations, formats and aspect ratios.
Project Workflow
- Work with directors, producers and editors to develop visual and animation ideas.
- Manage feedback, revisions and deadlines across multiple projects.
- Maintain organised project files, assets, versions and renders.
Requirements
- Proficient in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro, and comfortable working with DaVinci Resolve.
- Good understanding of animation timing, typography and composition, with the ability to translate briefs into clear visual ideas.
- Comfortable using AI-assisted creative tools, with basic prompting skills for generating and refining visual assets.
- Comfortable working independently in a fully work-from-home role, with clear communication and good time management.
