<p><span style="font-weight:bolder;">Job Description</span></p><p><span style="font-weight:bolder;">Job Title-</span> Junior .NET Full Stack Developer<br /><span style="font-weight:bolder;">Location-</span> Pune | Hybrid<br /><span style="font-weight:bolder;">Experience-</span> 3–5 Years<br /><span style="font-weight:bolder;">Primary Skills-</span> React.js, .NET / C#, SQL Server, REST APIs & Full-Stack Development</p><p><span style="font-weight:bolder;">ABOUT THE ROLE</span></p><p>This is a hands-on <span style="font-weight:bolder;">Individual Contributor (IC)</span> role for someone early in their career who is eager to learn a modern technology stack, develop strong engineering practices, and become comfortable using AI-assisted development tools as part of their daily delivery.</p><p><span style="font-weight:bolder;">ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</span></p><ul><li><p>Build and maintain features across <span style="font-weight:bolder;">React.js front ends and .NET 10 (C#) back ends</span>, under the guidance of senior engineers.</p></li><li><p>Write clean, tested, and well-documented code for well-scoped tickets and features.</p></li><li><p>Use AI-assisted development tools such as <span style="font-weight:bolder;">Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools</span> as part of the day-to-day development workflow.</p></li><li><p>Participate in code reviews by both giving and receiving feedback to develop strong engineering practices.</p></li><li><p>Work with QA/SDET teams to fix defects and improve test coverage for developed features.</p></li><li><p>Learn the portfolio's applications and contribute to bug fixes and small enhancements across business units.</p></li><li><p>Maintain parity with legacy system behavior where required.</p></li><li><p>Develop and maintain automated tests and perform regression testing against existing systems.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with senior engineers and architects to understand technical requirements and implementation approaches.</p></li></ul><p><span style="font-weight:bolder;">QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS</span></p><ul><li><p>Up to <span style="font-weight:bolder;">6 years of professional software development experience</span>.</p></li><li><p>Good understanding of <span style="font-weight:bolder;">React.js</span>, including components, hooks, and basic state management.</p></li><li><p>Good understanding of <span style="font-weight:bolder;">.NET / C#</span>, with exposure to .NET 10 or willingness to learn and ramp up quickly.</p></li><li><p>Good understanding of <span style="font-weight:bolder;">SQL Server and relational databases</span>, including reading queries, understanding existing tables, and testing against development databases.</p></li><li><p>Good understanding of <span style="font-weight:bolder;">REST APIs, relational databases</span>, and full-stack web application architecture.</p></li><li><p>Hands-on exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as <span style="font-weight:bolder;">Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf</span>, or similar tools, or strong willingness to adopt them.</p></li><li><p>Good debugging and problem-solving skills with the ability to ask relevant questions when required.</p></li><li><p>Clear communication skills and a collaborative attitude.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work effectively with and learn from senior engineers.</p></li></ul><p><span style="font-weight:bolder;">MANDATORY SKILLS</span></p><ul><li><p>React.js</p></li><li><p>.NET / C#</p></li><li><p>SQL Server</p></li><li><p>REST APIs</p></li><li><p>Full-Stack Web Development</p></li><li><p>Relational Databases</p></li><li><p>Basic State Management</p></li><li><p>Debugging & Troubleshooting</p></li><li><p>AI-Assisted Development Tools</p></li></ul><p><span style="font-weight:bolder;">GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS</span></p><ul><li><p>Exposure to <span style="font-weight:bolder;">legacy .NET Framework or Web Forms</span>.</p></li><li><p>Academic or personal projects involving <span style="font-weight:bolder;">React.js and/or .NET</span>.</p></li><li><p>Exposure to <span style="font-weight:bolder;">Git-based development workflows</span>.</p></li><li><p>Basic understanding of <span style="font-weight:bolder;">CI/CD pipelines</span>.</p></li><li><p>Interest in application modernization and migration projects.</p></li><li><p>Experience with automated testing and regression testing.</p></li></ul><p><span style="font-weight:bolder;">ABOUT SONATA SOFTWARE</span></p><p>Sonata Software is an <span style="font-weight:bolder;">AI-first modernization engineering company</span> that helps enterprises transform legacy systems into intelligent, scalable business platforms.
