Junior Planning Engineer

Assists in scheduling, tracking, and reporting on construction projects like high-rise buildings and villas using tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated Junior Planning Engineer to support project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting activities. The ideal candidate will assist the project team in ensuring timely completion of construction activities and maintaining accurate project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing and updating project schedules using planning software.
Support the Planning Manager/Project Manager in monitoring project progress.
Track site activities and compare actual progress against planned schedules.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Collect site updates and coordinate with engineering and construction teams.
Assist in identifying project delays and support corrective action plans.
Maintain project documentation, schedules, and progress records.
Support preparation of manpower, material, and resource planning.
Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants for project updates.
Assist in preparing project presentations and progress dashboards.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Planning Engineer / Junior Planning Engineer in construction projects.
Experience in high-rise buildings, residential, and villa projects preferred.
Basic knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and construction activities.
Familiarity with Primavera P6 / MS Project is required.
Good analytical, reporting, and coordination skills.
UAE construction experience is an advantage.
