Junior PMO (Data Engineering & Banking)
Project Tracking & Governance:
- Monitor and report on project status, timelines, deliverables, budget, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery of Data Engineering projects.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain and update standard PMO documentation, including RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), status reports, change requests, and meeting minutes to support project transparency.
Stakeholder Coordination:
- Serve as the central liaison between technical data engineering teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and alignment.
Agile & Waterfall Facilitation:
- Support Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and project status reviews using tools like Jira, Confluence, and MS Project to enhance team productivity.
Financial & Resource Management:
- Assist in tracking project budgets, invoices, resource utilization, and vendor engagement metrics to support financial oversight and resource planning.
Compliance & Governance:
- Ensure all data engineering initiatives comply with regulatory, compliance, and internal governance frameworks relevant to the banking industry.
Required competencies and certifications
- 2–4 years of PMO or Project Coordination experience.
- Conceptual knowledge of Data Engineering concepts such as ETL pipelines, data warehousing, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and data governance.
- Proficiency with project management tools including Jira, Confluence, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, or Power BI.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Prior experience working in Banking, Financial Services, or Fintech environments.
