Junior Process Engineer

Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions is seeking a Junior Process Engineer in Italy to support manufacturing improvements and NPD-related activities. The role focuses on implementing new technologies, optimizing production lines, and coordinating with maintenance and external technicians.

The base annual compensation ranges from €30,000 to €35,000 gross, with eligibility for an annual bonus. Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree, 0–3 years of project experience, and are fluent in Italian

Manages, directly or as part of a team, specific engineering projects and technical activities at the plant of allocation. Plan and execute continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing technologies and processes at the plant. Implement new technologies in line with FHCS sourcing/production strategies. Own new equipment development at the site, from supplier scouting through to release to production. Manage the digitalization of production processes, including digitalized production management systems. Monitor energy and electricity consumption, as well as machine data monitoring. Act as the interface between operators/maintenance staff and external technicians on machine-related matters. Support the introduction of new production lines, including process evaluation. Contribute to flawless and efficient collaboration between Production, Manufacturing R&D, and other relevant functions on all engineering-related matters. Bachelor's degree (minimum) or Master's degree (preferred) in Engineering; a background in Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering is highly appreciated. 0–3 years of experience in engineering projects and technical activities. Fluent in Italian, with a good command of English. Basic experience in Project Management. Basic knowledge of Safety and Environmental practices.
