Junior Procurement Specialist
Overview:
Garud is seeking a Junior Procurement Specialist to support FEMA and their government acquisition staff with research, documentation, and procurement coordination across the acquisition lifecycle. This role helps ensure acquisition files, source selection materials, and contract support tasks are accurate, timely, and complete.

What You Will Do
- Conduct market research and support acquisition strategy development.
- Assist with documentation for source selections and proposal pricing reviews.
- Enter and maintain contract data in contract management systems.
- Support meetings, program reviews, outreach, and liaison activities.
- Draft written materials and help compile assessments and supporting documents.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of procurement, acquisition, or contract support experience.
- Ability to research policies, directives, and federal acquisition requirements.
- Strong organizational, writing, and coordination skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and contract systems.
Additional Requirements
- Experience supporting source selection documentation and contractor performance reviews.
- Ability to assist with cost, schedule, and technical analysis.
- Familiarity with government directives, statutes, and procurement policies.
- Ability to support administration of complex contracts.
