Junior Procurement Specialist (Trodo SIA / Latvia)

The role:
Junior Purchasing Specialist supports purchasing activities by handling payments, invoices, and purchasing-related documentation in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. The role focuses on accurate data entry, document verification, and supporting the purchasing team under the guidance of a team lead.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and process goods returns to suppliers according to supplier rules and internal procedures
  • Creating regular comparison reports by checking that amounts, dates, and payments match and are completed correctly
  • Managing purchasing documentation by planning and organizing document entry and maintaining invoices in 1C and DocuWare systems, as well as in paper form
  • Entering and coordinating inventory orders from suppliers according to defined schedules, instructions, and deadlines
  • Following purchasing guidelines and standards documented in Confluence
  • Supporting other employees with invoice-related questions and tasks
  • Communicating with the team lead and colleagues to clarify tasks and raise questions when needed

Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of procurement and purchasing systems, including 1C (experience with Pimcore is an advantage)
  • Elementary level of English language are required for working with software and developing solutions tailored for international audiences and users
  • Knowledge of the company’s product range, preferably automotive spare parts
  • Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to navigate and use supplier websites efficiently
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document verification
  • Sense of responsibility and ability to carry out tasks independently within given instructions
  • Basic problem-solving skills and willingness to ask for support when needed
  • Team-oriented mindset and good cooperation skills

Will be considered an advantage:

  • Basic understanding of accounting and/or analytical thinking related to invoices and purchasing activities
  • Basic understanding or profiency of Confluence, 1C or DocuWare
