  • Maintain organised and accurate product records and documentation.

  • Assist with product demonstrations, release preparation and other product-related activities.

  • Escalate delays, risks, defects and unresolved matters to the Product Owner promptly.

2. Scrum and Sprint Coordination

  • Identify and escalate sprint risks, dependencies and blockers.

  • Keep task statuses and sprint boards accurate and up to date.

  • Support the team in improving delivery discipline and meeting agreed timelines.

3. Business Requirements and Documentation

  • Work with the Product Owner to understand business and customer requirements.

  • Translate business requirements into clear and structured Business Logic Requirements.

  • Document the purpose, scope, business rules, system behaviour and expected outcomes of each requirement.

  • Update documentation when approved requirements or functionality change.

  • Maintain consistent naming, structure and version control across product documentation.

4. Development Task Management

  • Create and allocate development tasks based on approved requirements.

  • Ensure tasks contain sufficient information, documentation and acceptance criteria before being assigned.

  • Confirm that developers understand the requirements and expected functionality.

  • Respond to questions from developers or escalate requirement decisions to the Product Owner.

  • Track tasks from initial allocation through development, testing, correction and completion.

  • Follow up on overdue or blocked tasks.

  • Ensure verbal instructions and decisions are documented in the relevant task or product record.

  • Maintain visibility of work in progress, completed work and outstanding dependencies.

5. Manual Software Testing

  • Perform thorough manual testing on every feature delivered by the Development team before release.

  • Validate completed functionality against approved Business Logic Requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.

  • Test the complete user journey and not only the main expected scenario.

  • Test different user roles, permissions, devices, browsers and account conditions where applicable.

  • Identify and test edge cases, negative scenarios and unusual user behaviour.

  • Confirm that existing functionality has not been negatively affected by newly developed features.

  • Perform regression testing where required.

  • Test integrations and data flows between relevant systems.

  • Verify calculations, notifications, statuses, permissions, validations and error messages.

  • Confirm that the user experience is clear, functional and aligned with the approved requirements.

  • Ensure no feature is recommended for release without completing the required testing.

6. Bug Reporting and Retesting

  • Identify, reproduce and document software bugs clearly.

  • Provide detailed steps to reproduce each bug.

  • Include the expected result, actual result and supporting evidence.

  • Attach screenshots, screen recordings, test accounts or examples where required.

  • Assign an appropriate priority or severity to identified defects.

  • Ensure bugs are allocated to the correct developer or responsible team member.

  • Retest corrected bugs and confirm whether they have been resolved successfully.

  • Reopen defects that have not been fully resolved.

  • Maintain accurate records of open, resolved and retested defects.

  • Support the Product Owner in confirming whether features are ready for release.

  • Ensure that required documentation, testing and approvals are completed before deployment.

  • Assist with preparing release notes and summaries of completed functionality.

  • Perform post-deployment checks to confirm that released functionality works correctly in the live environment.

  • Report any production issues immediately.

  • Support the investigation and reproduction of product issues reported by customers or the Support team.

  • Help maintain clear communication between Product, Development, Quality Assurance and Support.

  • Contribute to improving product quality, delivery consistency and customer experience.

8. Product Administration

  • Maintain product task boards, sprint records, testing evidence and supporting documents.

  • Keep product requirements, user flows and process documentation organised and accessible.

  • Record meeting actions, decisions, owners and due dates.

  • Follow up on agreed action items.

  • Prepare product progress updates and reports when requested.
