Junior Product Designer
Summary
Clera is seeking a Junior Product Designer to help build procurement intelligence software that enables human-AI collaboration. You will design end-to-end product flows and prototypes using Figma and AI tools while working closely with engineering to ship features for complex industrial workflows.
About the Role
Join a small, cross-functional team at a fast-growing B2B procurement intelligence company to help invent how professionals supervise and collaborate with AI agents. This role sits at the frontier of a new product category — moving complex industrial workflows from traditional dashboards to agentic systems — and your design decisions will ship to paying customers within weeks.
What You'll Do
Design end-to-end product flows, screens, and prototypes that reach customers quickly.
Define how AI agents surface work, how humans review it, and how trust is established between them.
Prototype in Figma, code, and AI tools to communicate ideas rapidly and effectively.
Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and domain experts to reduce handoff friction.
Review pull requests and make last-mile interaction and visual tweaks to maintain shipped quality.
Raise visual and interaction standards across the product and contribute to the design system.
Own features from discovery through launch — not just isolated screens.
Iterate based on customer feedback and real-world usage.
What We're Looking For
0–2 years of product design experience (strong internships count), with a portfolio of shipped work — ideally in B2B, complex workflows, or data-heavy products.
Experience contributing to and maintaining a design system with a focus on cross-product consistency.
Daily use of AI tools in your design workflow (e.g., generative design, AI-assisted prototyping, or AI-enhanced collaboration tools such as Claude, Cursor, or v0).
Strong instinct for visual and interaction design, with an eye for detail that extends to shipped quality.
Systems thinking: you care about how many features work together, not just single screens.
Practical understanding of the design-to-development lifecycle and comfort working cross-functionally.
Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward shipping rather than endless polish.
Bonus: prototyping experience in code (HTML, CSS, React); background designing for non-technical users in complex domains; strong opinions on how AI should appear in products beyond chat interfaces.
Location
On-site in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Visa sponsorship is not available.
