Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Product Engineer (Manual Testing) with proven expertise in BFSI, Capital Markets,
and Wealth Management domains. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of
mission-critical financial applications. This role requires close collaboration with product managers, developers,
and business stakeholders to validate complex financial workflows, regulatory requirements, and customer-facing
features. Your contribution will directly impact the trust and efficiency of financial products used by clients
worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform functional, regression, integration, and usability testing on financial applications including trading
platforms, portfolio management systems, and digital banking solutions.
Validate transaction flows, risk calculations, compliance checks, and reporting accuracy across BFSI
products.
Develop and execute test cases that cover regulatory requirements and ensure adherence to industry
standards.
Identify, document, and track bugs or issues, particularly those impacting financial accuracy, security, and
compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing with business rules, financial models, and
customer expectations.
Ensure test coverage includes multi-currency support, cross-border transactions, and platform
interoperability.
Verify compatibility across platforms, browsers, and devices, with emphasis on secure financial
transactions and data integrity.
Provide actionable feedback to developers and product teams with a focus on risk mitigation and
customer trust.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance Technology, or related field.
2-4 years of proven experience in manual testing across BFSI, Capital Markets, or Wealth Management
applications.
Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC with emphasis on financial product lifecycles.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail).
Ability to write detailed test cases covering financial transactions, compliance workflows, and reporting
systems.
Knowledge of financial regulations, risk management principles, and domain-specific standards is highly
desirable.
Exposure to financial data validation, reconciliation processes, and audit trails will be an added advantage.
