JUNIOR PROGRAMMER

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining software solutions that support our retail operations and contribute to the overall success of our business.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Design, develop, test and deploy software applications and systems tailored to meet the needs of our retail operations.

• Maintain and enhance existing software solutions, troubleshoot issues and implement necessary updates and improvements.

• Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices and security protocols.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and optimization.

• Provide technical support and assistance to internal stakeholders, including training and guidance on software usage and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, preferably with 2-3 years of related working experience.

• Proven experience in software development, with a focus on designing and building scalable and robust applications.

• Familiar with Microsoft Visual FoxPro

• Strong understanding of software development methodologies.

• Experience with database management systems

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

• Previous experience in the retail industry is a plus.

• Prior RFID Software Development is an added advantage.
