Junior Project Engineer

Adecco is partnering with a world leader in industrial gases, technologies and services for industry.

Work Schedule: 5 days work, 8.00am to 6.00pm
Location: 1 North Coast Drive, Singapore 757432

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, including installation works and coordination with consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress and schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and provide technical input for installation and mechanical design drawings.
• Coordinate site safety requirements, work permits, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Assist with tender documentation, procurement, budgeting, and cost estimation.
• Attend project meetings and prepare progress reports.
• Coordinate vendors during equipment installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Support the Project Manager in delivering projects on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Higher NITEC/ Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related field)
• 2 years of experience in project supervision and site installation coordination.
• Experience in process plants, equipment installation, EPC, or industrial construction projects.
• Knowledge of mechanical design documentation, piping systems, and equipment installation.
• Able to read and interpret P&ID, PFD, piping layouts, pipe supports, and mechanical installation drawings.
• Familiar with electrical cable and trunking installation, as well as fire protection and alarm systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project (or equivalent), and Google Workspace.
• Familiar with Singapore and international construction and piping codes and regulations.
