Junior Project Manager (Chinese and English bilingual)

Summary

The Junior Project Manager oversees site construction activities, including safety compliance, project planning, and subcontractor management. The role requires fluency in English and Mandarin and experience managing construction projects from inception to completion.

Due to business expansion, we are now seeking experienced and responsible Junior Project Manager to join our team and grow with the company.

Work Location: TUAS (Company provides shuttle bus service)

Main Responsibilities:

Over all in charge of site construction activities:

• Ensure adequate training is provided to all site staff as well as sub-contractor’s workers.

• Provide direction and assistance to operational individuals on quality, safety, health & environmental matter.

• Initiate corrective and preventive actions to eliminate non-conformities to an acceptable tolerance.

• Initiate fellow colleagues to conduct safety inspections or patrols and take remedial action if necessary.

• Report & investigate injuries, damages & loss incurred.

• Implement site utilization plan and equipping.

• Plan for the Master Works programme.

• Implement, track and amend programme.

• Appointment of essential staffs and specialist subcontractors.

• Prepare Project Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Plan (PQEHS Plan).

• Responsible for the timely completion of a project.

• Identify and record works deviation from Contract Drawings and document such deviation.

• Review progress claim application recommended by Contract Department.

• Approval of sub-con/supplier progress claim.

• Responsible for the achievement site quality, health, safety and environmental objectives as set.

• Ensure company’s quality, safety, health & environmental policies, programmes and procedures are implemented in the workplace.

Job Requirement

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry

• Hold a bachelor's degree and a certificate in construction safety project management.

• Proven track record in successfully managing complex construction projects, from inception to completion

• Excellent project management skills, including proficiency in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to navigate challenges and find creative solutions

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders

• Thorough understanding of construction regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards

• Proficiency in project management software and tools

• Fluent in both English and Mandarin
