Junior Project Manager

We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to support the successful delivery of operational maintenance and improvement initiatives. The role will involve working with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate project activities, track delivery and support the implementation of effective project and operational processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career project professional to develop their project management skills within a busy operational environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of projects and operational initiatives.

  • Coordinate activities across project, operational and technical teams.

  • Maintain project plans, schedules, actions and key documentation.

  • Track project progress, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies.

  • Prepare project updates, reports and presentations for stakeholders.

  • Organise and support project meetings, workshops and progress reviews.

  • Follow up on actions and ensure key deliverables remain on track.

  • Support the implementation of consistent project management and operational processes.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement and best practice initiatives.

  • Provide general project delivery support across operational activities.

Key Requirements

  • 1–5 years' relevant experience in project management, project coordination or a related environment.

  • Demonstrable experience supporting project delivery and coordinating multiple activities.

  • Good understanding of project management principles and processes.

  • Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively as part of a team.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Experience in utilities, infrastructure, engineering, maintenance or asset management would be advantageous.
