Junior Project Manager

Summary

Junior Project Manager coordinates environmental construction projects, oversees subcontractors, and ensures scope, budget, and schedule adherence in Ballston Spa, NY.

We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to join our Remedial Construction team in Ballston Spa, NY. This position will work closely with the environmental program manager, field service manager, environmental and mechanical engineers and other project managers within our group to continue to advance and grow our environmental construction group in the Ballston Spa office.

Duties:

· Effective leadership in a matrix organization
· Initiation, planning, executing, building a comprehensive work plan, controlling and managing the risks, scope, schedule and budget, along with closing out projects
· Managing subcontractors on projects
· Being the main point of contact between subcontractors and the client. The project manager should be responsible for monitoring and measuring project performance throughout the project and resolving any contract disputes related to cost, scope and schedule.

Requirements

· Preferred a minimum of 3 to 10 + years of project manager experience

· Relevant bachelor’s degree is required

· Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

· Experience working under a state contract and completing solicitations for subcontractors a plus.

· Valid New York State Driver’s License and be able to pass a criminal background check.

· Must have a reliable form of transportation to get to and from work daily.

· 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (is a plus, will train the right candidate)

· 10-hour Construction Safety certification (is a plus, will train the right candidate)

Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
