Junior Project Manager:
We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects from initiation through completion. The role will work closely with project teams, clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities.
Track project progress, milestones, deliverables, and deadlines.
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Prepare project status reports, meeting minutes, presentations, and documentation.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.
Follow up with team members to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Organize project meetings and track action items to closure.
Identify project risks and escalate issues to the Project Manager when required.
Support change management and maintain project documentation.
Ensure project activities follow organizational processes and quality standards.
Assist with resource planning and allocation.
Support project closure activities and prepare lessons learned.
Required Skills:
3-5 years of experience in project coordination or project management in public sector projects.
Good understanding of project management processes and methodologies.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Good organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Experience with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, or similar tools is an advantage.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with cross-functional teams.
Good problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Project management certification such as PMP, CAPM, or PRINCE2 is an added advantage.
Preferred Profile:
Proactive and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Willingness to learn and take increasing responsibility for project delivery.
