The Project Analyst / PMO Coordinator is responsible for driving day-to-day execution management across Skapion's engineering programs. Using the company's project management systems, the role maintains visibility into schedules, requirements, dependencies, deliverables, and milestone progress, ensuring that cross-functional activities remain aligned and on track.

Beyond tracking status, the role converts program data into actionable insights for the PMO and leadership team by identifying execution risks, schedule slippages, resource conflicts, and dependency issues early. Success in this role requires a combination of analytical thinking, process discipline, business judgment, and the ability to communicate clearly with both engineers and executives.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and reliable project data, ensuring tasks, ownership, priorities, schedules, dependencies, and progress are always up to date.
  • Monitor execution across multiple teams, identifying gaps, bottlenecks, risks, and schedule deviations, and proactively driving corrective actions.
  • Manage requirements traceability and verification records, ensuring end-to-end alignment between requirements, implementation, and validation activities.
  • Prepare dashboards, status reports, and performance metrics that provide clear visibility into program health and execution status.
  • Support planning and execution activities, including backlog management, action tracking, and follow-up across engineering and business functions.
  • Track cross-functional dependencies and risks, escalating issues early and helping maintain alignment across teams.
  • Promote process discipline, data quality, and continuous improvement through effective governance, standardization, and automation initiatives.
  • Support onboarding, training, and adoption of project management processes and best practices across the organization.
  • Turn project and operational data into actionable insights for leadership, highlighting trends, constraints, and emerging challenges for assisting the program leadership with management reviews, planning activities, reporting, and special projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or related) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Jira and Confluence; administration/configuration experience is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail and comfort working with structured data across multiple linked systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work across several parallel work-streams and disciplines.
  • Self-driven; comfortable following up with engineers and leads to close data gaps.
  • Good written and verbal communication in Hebrew and English.
  • Prior experience in a PMO, project-coordinator, or business/systems-analyst role in an engineering or defense R&D environment is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with requirements-management/traceability tools (trace.space, DOORS, Jama, Polarion, or similar) is an advantage.
  • Experience with Jira automation, JQL, dashboards, or Confluence macros is an advantage.
