Junior Property Manager - Commercial Offices

We are currently looking for a full-time, Junior Property Manager to support the management and daily operations of a portfolio of commercial office buildings from our Corporate office in Dresher, PA. This position reports to our President and partners with the Senior Property Manager of Commercial while working closely with Building Engineers, Accounting and Acquisitions. This role assists in ensuring properties are well-maintained, financially sound, and operated in accordance with company standards while delivering exceptional tenant customer service. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and eager to develop a career in commercial real estate and property management

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of assigned commercial office properties.
  • Serve as a point of contact for tenants and respond promptly to inquiries, requests, and concerns.
  • Coordinate tenant move-ins, move-outs, and suite inspections.
  • Assist with vendor management, including scheduling maintenance and monitoring service contracts.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with building standards.
  • Coordinate repairs, preventive maintenance activities, and capital improvement projects.
  • Support the preparation and administration of annual operating budgets.
  • Review invoices, code expenses appropriately, and assist with accounts payable processes.
  • Assist with tenant billing and lease administration
  • Maintain accurate property records, tenant files, contracts, and operational documentation.
  • Assist in preparing monthly management reports, financial reports, and property performance summaries.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with tenants, vendors, contractors, and internal team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
  • Four to five years of experience in commercial property management, real estate, facilities management, or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of commercial lease terminology and property management principles is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Experience with property management software such as MRI, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage deadlines effectively.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk properties and conduct inspections, including climbing stairs as needed.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to travel between assigned properties as required.
  • Ability to work in an office environment using standard office equipment.
