Job Summary
Manage procurement activities for semiconductor fabrication parts, ensuring timely sourcing, vendor negotiation, and resolution of supply issues to support manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Source and manage procurement of fabrication parts to meet production requirements
- Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier quotes accurately and efficiently
- Review and analyze vendor quotes to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with specifications
- Coordinate and resolve escalated supply issues such as shipment delays and documentation status to maintain production schedules
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times with suppliers to secure favorable agreements and ensure on-time delivery
- Maintain strong supplier relationships to support ongoing procurement needs and operational continuity
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat) to prepare procurement documentation and reports
- Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to address procurement challenges and optimize sourcing processes
- Work independently and manage workload effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma in Engineering, Electronic, or Manufacturing discipline
- Experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry
- Familiarity with Syspro system
