This role may be a good fit if you are in the final years of your studies, have recently graduated, or have already completed your first personal, academic, or internship projects.
What You’ll do
Plan and perform manual functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing of web and mobile applications.
Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and testing checklists.
Identify, document, report, and retest defects.
Test APIs and integrations using tools such as Postman.
Work closely with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers throughout the development process.
Learn to build and maintain automated tests using Python and Playwright.
Use AI tools to support exploratory testing, test-case design, automation, defect analysis, and documentation.
Review and validate AI-generated results before using them.
Contribute to improving testing practices and quality standards within the team.
Gradually take ownership of testing selected features and application areas.
Requirements
Must Have
Basic knowledge of software testing principles, equivalent to ISTQB Foundation Level knowledge; certification is not required.
Basic Python skills, including the ability to write simple functions or scripts.
Interest in both manual and automated testing.
Interest in AI-assisted software development and willingness to learn how to use AI effectively in quality engineering.
A critical mindset and understanding that AI-generated results must be reviewed, tested, and validated.
Curiosity, attention to detail, and a structured approach to problem-solving.
Ability to collaborate and communicate clearly in English, both written and spoken
Nice to Have
First experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or another test automation tool.
Basic knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman.
Familiarity with Git and pull-request-based workflows.
Experience using ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, JetBrains AI, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools.
Experience using AI to support test-case creation, scripting, documentation, or technical analysis.
Basic understanding of CI/CD, Docker, or Agile/Scrum.
Personal, academic, internship, or open-source projects demonstrating your technical interests.
If your skills or experience already go beyond the requirements described for this junior position, we would still be happy to talk. We are open to adjusting the role, responsibilities, and compensation to match the right candidate’s level.
