Junior QA Engineer

Job Description:

* Assist in understanding and reviewing product requirements and business processes to ensure they are clear, complete, and testable under the guidance of senior QA engineers.

* Assist in preparing test scenarios, test cases, and testing documentation based on product requirements and business processes.

* Perform manual testing of ERP software applications, including functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing for new features and existing modules.

* Develop and maintain automated test scripts for selected test scenarios to improve testing efficiency and coverage, under the guidance of senior QA engineers.

* Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, UI/UX designers, and analysts to clarify requirements, identify potential issues, and ensure features meet expected specifications.

* Identify, document, and track software defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting information to assist developers in troubleshooting and resolution.

* Perform retesting and regression testing after defects have been resolved, including executing relevant automated test scripts to ensure fixes work as expected and do not introduce new issues.

* Assist in testing across development, staging, and production environments, and contribute to improving testing processes, documentation, and overall software quality.

* Stay updated with the latest industry trends, testing methodologies, automation practices, and emerging technologies in software quality assurance.

Requirement:

* Must possess a Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Computer / Software), or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 3.00.

* Having 0-1 years of working experience.

* Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

* Passionate about software quality and web/application development.

* Understanding of software testing concepts, including test cases, test scenarios, bug reporting, regression testing, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

* Understanding of Web Application Development and basic database concepts.

* Basic understanding of programming fundamentals and/or scripting.

* Familiarity with API testing, automated testing, SQL and database testing, bug tracking or test management tools is a plus.

* High level of integrity and ethics.

* Fast learner with strong analytical and good problem-solving skills.

* Detail-oriented and able to identify inconsistencies or potential issues.

* Comfortable with ambiguity and failure, as well as rapid iteration.

* Willing to be full WFO in Jakarta (Sudirman).
