Junior manual QA at Stormotion, a React Native mobile agency: you'll write and improve test cases, run smoke/feature/regression testing on Android and iOS apps, report and track bugs, investigate user reports, and join scrum ceremonies for client projects in IoT, EV/mobility, fitness, and health-tech.

We’re looking for a proactive Junior QA with a problem-solving mindset and good English skills to join our Stormotion team.
Stormotion is a React Native-focused agency. We build mobile products in IoT/BLE, EV & Mobility, Fitness, and HealthTech/Mental Wellbeing for clients from the USA, Europe, and Australia. Small teams, direct client communication.
Requirements
Up to 2 years of QA experience
Good understanding of software testing fundamentals, including testing types, levels, and test design techniques;
Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies;
Basic knowledge of mobile application testing principles and experience testing Android and iOS applications;
Ability to analyze requirements, identify potential risks, and investigate issues to determine their root causes;
Experience creating and executing test cases, checklists, and test scenarios;
Understanding of functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing;
Familiarity with Jira or similar bug-tracking and task-management tools;
Basic understanding of client-server architecture;
Familiarity with AI tools and their practical application in QA activities;
Basic understanding of accessibility, localization, and usability testing;
Good analytical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills;
Spoken English Intermediate+: confident on calls, not only in chat
What you'll be working on:
Develop and constantly improve test cases and checklists for manual testing.
Perform manual testing (smoke/feature/regression/etc.) and prepare test reports (mostly for mobile projects).
Generate bug reports, categorize issues by priority/severity, track bugs’ lifecycle, and verify fixes.
Investigate user reports and customer requests.
Participate in projects’ scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily standups, demos, and retrospectives.
Will be a plus
Familiarity with mobile debugging tools, such as Android Studio, Logcat, Xcode Console, or similar;
Understanding of web application testing principles and experience with browser developer tools;
Passion for self-education in QA (professional books, thematic courses, pet-projects)
