Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Junior QA Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in software testing activities, identifying bugs, verifying application functionality, and ensuring that software products meet quality standards. This role is ideal for freshers interested in building a career in software testing and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web applications, mobile applications, and software products.
• Execute test cases to identify bugs, errors, and functionality issues.
• Prepare and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Perform functional, regression, and basic compatibility testing.
• Collaborate with developers to investigate and resolve reported issues.
• Verify bug fixes and ensure applications meet specified requirements.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of Software Testing and Quality Assurance concepts.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Understanding of manual testing techniques and methodologies.
• Ability to write and execute test cases and test scenarios.
• Basic knowledge of bug reporting and defect tracking.

Qualification

• B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• BCA / MCA or equivalent qualifications are also eligible.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or TestRail.
• Basic understanding of SQL and database testing.
• Knowledge of API testing using Postman.
• Awareness of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
