Junior QA Tester

About SnapInspect:

SnapInspect is a leading U.S.-focused SaaS company specialising in property inspection & maintenance software. We are looking for a Junior Developer to join our team and contribute to our ongoing growth. This role is based in our Snells Beach office and requires availability Tuesday to Saturday, starting at 4:00 AM to align with U.S. business hours.

We do not offer remote work for this role.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior QA Tester to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates with a passion for software testing, automation, and AI tools, who are eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced technology environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-release testing of iOS (TestFlight), Android (Play Internal), and web application builds, providing documented test results for each release.

• Identify and log bugs with clear reproduction steps, screenshots, and device/version details, and follow up with developers.

• Maintain and expand automated testing using Playwright, Appium, and Node.js.

• Use AI development tools to improve testing and automation.

• Maintain test documentation, core workflow test cases, and test data setup scripts.

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Familiarity with programming languages and software development principles.

• An interest in software testing, quality assurance, and automation.

• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with developers and other team members.

• A willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and testing methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

• JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js), SQL, Git/GitHub, and AWS.

• Experience with Playwright, Appium, or other automated testing frameworks.

• Understanding of REST APIs and webhooks.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools.

• Strong attention to detail and clear written English.
