Junior Quantity Surveyor
Sapir Projects Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the cost management of construction and interior design projects from inception to completion, ensuring budgets are maintained and value is delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), and tender documentation.
- Conduct site measurements and support project valuation processes.
- Monitor project costs and provide updates on budget performance.
- Support procurement activities including materials cost tracking and vendor liaison.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, site managers, and clients to ensure accurate cost control.
- Assist in preparing interim payment applications, variations, and final accounts.
- Maintain project documentation and support reporting to senior management.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in a construction or interior design environment.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, or similar is a plus).
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must reside in Lagos State
