The Arc of San Diego is looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Junior Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team for a temporary 3‑month assignment. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their HR or recruiting career who wants hands‑on experience in a mission‑driven organization.
Status: Part Time
Schedule: Mon- Fri 8:30-2
Pay: The pay for this position is $22 to $22.00 per hour.
What You’ll Do

Perform key administrative recruiting tasks

Screen applications and conduct initial phone screens

Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates and hiring managers

Perform reference checks and assist with offer letters and pre‑employment steps

Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS

Create flyers and recruitment materials

Assist with job fairs, hiring events, and onboarding activities

What We’re Looking For

1+ year of HR, recruiting, or administrative support experience

Strong communication and customer service skills

Excellent attention to detail and organization

Ability to manage multiple tasks and know when to seek guidance

Experience with ATS/HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
