Junior SAP Security Analyst
Summary
Junior role supporting SAP security operations: user access administration, authorization/role maintenance, provisioning and access reviews across SAP S/4HANA, IDM and GRC, resolving access requests via ticketing systems, plus light scripting/automation with ABAP, Python or SQL. Based in Kuala Lumpur; fresh graduates welcome.
Salary: RM 4,000 – RM 5,800 per month
About the role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior SAP Security Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, with an interest in SAP security, user access management, and enterprise application support. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and junior professionals to develop their technical expertise in SAP authorization and application security.
Key responsibilities
Assist in SAP user access administration, authorization management, and role maintenance.
Support SAP security operations across SAP S/4HANA and other SAP environments.
Handle and resolve SAP access and authorization requests through ticketing systems.
Assist with user provisioning, access reviews, and troubleshooting authorization issues.
Support SAP Identity Management (IDM) and user lifecycle management activities.
Assist with SAP security documentation, testing, and implementation activities.
Perform basic programming, scripting, or automation tasks to improve operational efficiency.
Collaborate with internal IT teams to maintain secure and reliable SAP applications.
About you
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are preferred.
Basic understanding of SAP authorization, SAP security, user access management, or enterprise application support.
Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP IDM, SAP GRC, or SAP ByDesign will be an advantage.
Basic knowledge of ABAP programming, Python, SQL, or other programming languages is beneficial.
Experience with ServiceNow or other IT service management ticketing systems is an advantage.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to learn, with good communication skills and attention to detail.
