About the role
We’re looking for a Junior Site Reliability Engineer to join an international SRE team supporting large-scale cloud buildout operations.
The role focuses on operational support, troubleshooting, incident triage, and automation during parallel cloud buildouts. You’ll help investigate and resolve blocked buildout states, execute troubleshooting procedures, and support the team in maintaining reliable cloud infrastructure.
This is a hands-on opportunity for a junior engineer to develop practical SRE skills while working alongside experienced engineers and gradually taking on more independent operational responsibilities.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of C#/.NET fundamentals
- Familiarity with Git
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools, such as Copilot or LLM-based tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to investigate issues independently and search for relevant technical information
- Good communication skills and ability to clearly explain findings, questions, and progress
- Ability to work reliably within established operational processes
- English sufficient for working effectively in an international engineering environment
- Previous experience with SRE, troubleshooting, or cloud operations
- Familiarity with incident management processes
- Basic knowledge of Azure networking concepts
- Experience with Windows Workflow Foundation
Responsibilities
- Support cloud buildout operations across multiple parallel cloud environments
- Perform first-level triage and investigate operational issues
- Follow established troubleshooting procedures and technical guidance to unblock buildout states
- Execute and support semi-automated operational processes
- Help create and maintain troubleshooting documentation and TSGs
- Investigate logs, system behavior, and operational data to identify potential issues
- Participate in incident management and escalation processes
- Collaborate with onsite and offshore SRE engineers
- Gradually take ownership of more complex operational and troubleshooting tasks
- Regular business hours
- Three evening calls per week at 6:00 PM CET
