Junior Snowflake Data Engineer

On behalf of one of our key partners, RED has a new opportunity for a Junior Snowflake Engineer to start ASAP on a B2B 12 months contract, on‑site project, English writing and speaking.
Qualifications
- 5 years experience with Snowflake
- 5 years of experience as Data Engineer
- To start ASAP
- On‑site 5 days/week in Basildon, Essex
- 12 months B2B Contract
- English writing and Speaker.
- Inside IR35
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and consolidation.
- Perform data mapping from source systems to Snowflake target models.
- Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models across staging, integration, and data mart layers.
- Build, test, and maintain dbt models following engineering best practices.
- Optimize Snowflake performance through efficient query design, materializations, and clustering strategies.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, lineage, and documentation standards are maintained.
- Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and platform teams to establish and align data architecture patterns and standards.
