Junior Software Developer
Summary
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud environments using Python, Bash, SQL, and GCP/AWS to automate deployments and ensure system reliability.
Develop, test, and maintain software applications while supporting system enhancements and troubleshooting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create efficient solutions using Python, Bash scripting, SQL, and cloud technologies. Assist in data engineering, automation, and deployment tasks while ensuring code quality and system performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for consistent and scalable
- Oversee environment management across development, testing, and production systems.
- Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and incident management tools.
- Embed DevSecOps practices to ensure security and compliance in all stages.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations for agile and efficient delivery.
- Provide operational and performance reports (e.g., deployment frequency, lead time, reliability).
Qualifications
- BS Computer Science or graduate of any IT-related course
- At least 1 year actual IT development/work experience
- Language: Python and Bash Scripting - Core at least Competent, Create scripts from a design
- SQL Engineering - Core at least Competent, Not only SELECT, (ALTER)
ADDITIONAL SKILLS (at least 2 of 4 below)
- Data Orchestration (Apache Airflow or Automate Now) - Knowledgeable
- Google BigQuery - Knowledgeable
- Cloud Infrastructure (GCP and AWS) - Knowledgeable
