Junior Software Developer

Summary

Assist in building and maintaining software applications, writing clean code, debugging, and collaborating with teams under senior guidance.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code under the guidance of senior developers.
  • Participate in debugging and resolving software issues.
  • Understand technical requirements and translate them into development tasks.
  • Perform unit testing and support integration testing.
  • Assist in identifying and fixing bugs and performance issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards.
  • Work with databases and APIs as required by the project.
  • Maintain technical documentation related to development activities.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and project managers.
  • Learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and development practices.
  • Follow company development, security, and quality standards.

RequiredSkills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0–1 year of experience in software development; fresh graduates with relevant project/internship experience may also apply.
  • Good understanding of programming fundamentals and object-oriented programming.
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language such as C#, .NET, Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
  • Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and web application concepts is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of Git/version control.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
