Junior Software Developer (Full Stack)
Summary
Junior full-stack developer (0-2 years experience) at RAS in Victoria, BC, building and maintaining full-stack web applications, refactoring legacy code, integrating systems, and automating business processes — with on-site collaboration across operations, sales, and production teams. Core technologies: React, SQL databases, Git/GitHub, APIs, plus AI/LLM-assisted development.
We are looking for a talented Junior Software Developer who is passionate about building great software and solving real business problems.
This role is ideal for someone with approximately 0-2 years of software development experience who wants to work on meaningful projects, modern technologies, AI-assisted development, process automation, and scalable business applications.
At RAS, you'll have the opportunity to work directly with operations, sales, production, and leadership teams to design and build solutions that have a measurable impact on the business.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full stack web applications
- Refactor legacy code into clean, maintainable, modular components
- Design scalable software architectures
- Improve application performance and reliability
- Build integrations between systems and platforms
- Automate business processes using modern tools
- Collaborate with business users to understand requirements
- Use AI and LLM tools responsibly to improve development efficiency
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Technical
