Summary
Junior developer on a managed-services/LiveOps team in Helsinki: keeps client production systems running (incident management, monitoring, on-call) while doing small feature development, automation, and reporting. Full-stack work; TypeScript/Python/Java/C#, AWS/Azure/GCP, Spring Boot/Next.js/React, and PostgreSQL/DynamoDB are advantageous. Fluent Finnish is required.
- Continuously develop in-production systems and software
- Provide service to clients and answer incident-management and service-request questions
- Monitor client environments and ensure production continuity
- Handle monitoring alerts according to priority
- Work with logs, reporting, information security, testing, and run books
- Develop and improve monitoring, automation, and ways of working with the LiveOps team
- Occasionally participate in evening or weekend on-call work on a volunteer or standby basis
- Take part in other development projects as needed
- Work with diverse technical environments and client projects
- Collaborate with clients, development teams, and LiveOps colleagues
- Provide support, continuity, and small feature development for in-production systems and platforms
- Improve automation, reporting, and developer experience
Requirements
- Some technical skills in software development
- Knowledge of both backend and frontend development
- Fluent Finnish is required
- Excellent communication skills
- Developer-centric mindset with a service-oriented attitude
- Strong teamwork and self-leadership skills
- Readiness to work on a 24/7 basis and flexibility with working hours, including outside normal business hours
- Knowledge or experience with Typescript, Python, Java, or C# is advantageous
- Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or UpCloud is advantageous
- Experience with Spring Boot, Next.js, React, Chalice, or Purify is advantageous
- Experience with PostgreSQL or DynamoDB is advantageous
- Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Dynamics 365, monitoring solutions, or AI assistants such as Copilot and Claude is advantageous
