Junior Software Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain software applications and system functionality
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and implementation activities
• Investigate and resolve system issues while identifying opportunities for improvement
• Support the deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of applications
• Create technical documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective solutions
• Assist with quality assurance, testing, and troubleshooting processes
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technology enhancements

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum 1 year of software development experience
• Exposure to developing data-driven applications and relational database environments
• Experience working within collaborative development teams advantageous
• Proficiency in C# and .NET development
• Understanding of SQL Server and relational database concepts
• Knowledge of application development methodologies and best practices
• Familiarity with REST APIs advantageous
• Exposure to Entity Framework and modern development tools beneficial
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and develop professionally
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport
