Junior Software Engineer
32-40 hours per week, hybrid in Venlo (NL)

What You’ll Do

As a Junior Software Engineer, you develop applications and system software for our high-end printing products and workflow solutions. You work with .NET Core, C#, Entity Framework and Angular/TypeScript across cloud, desktop, on-premises and printer-controller environments. In close collaboration with software, electronics, mechanics and chemistry specialists, you help turn complex product requirements into robust, testable software.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Designing, implementing and testing software components in C# and/or Angular/TypeScript
  • Developing microservices and user interfaces for printing and workflow products
  • Integrating software with printer controllers, embedded systems and cloud environments
  • Reviewing code and improving quality through automated and component testing
  • Contributing ideas, prototypes and technical solutions within an agile team

Who You’ll Work With

Our international organization has a flat hierarchy, so you’ll be working with lots of other people in an open, creative multidisciplinary environment. That includes colleagues in software, electronics, mechanics and chemistry, as well as development teams in Venlo, Timișoara and Poing.

What You Bring

We’re looking for a team player who meets the following requirements:

  • A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics or a comparable field
  • Up to 5 years of professional software development experience
  • Basic experience with C# and/or Angular/TypeScript through study, internship or work
  • An interest in embedded systems, microservices and multidisciplinary product development
  • Knowledge of AI technologies, machine learning and software modelling is considered a plus
  • A proactive approach to learning, problem-solving and taking ownership of your work

  • Fluent English skills, both spoken and written
