Junior Software Engineer
About the role
First Circle is an SME-focused, credit-centric, and multi-product NeoBank in SE Asia. Engineers are given personal responsibility to solve real problems in the business from the day they join, starting small and quickly growing into leading hugely exciting projects. You will receive regular mentorship from senior engineers with tremendous track records building software around the world. Building in emerging markets like the Philippines presents unique challenges given the state of digital infrastructure. The company is building virtually everything in-house, which presents the opportunity to do zero-to-one building in a company that has already got a track record of delivering great things.
About you
Natural creators and problem solvers who love critical thinking. You will not be expected to get it right every time, but you will always be asked to justify your thinking.
Experience: ideally a degree or bootcamp related to engineering, computer science, etc.
Professional experience is welcome but not essential.
Ability to pass the FC engineering code test
