Junior Software Engineer
Summary
Develop and maintain features for a digital wallet platform, including backend services, APIs, and mobile/web applications, while writing clean code, testing, and collaborating with senior engineers using Git and standard development workflows.
- Develop and maintain features for the digital wallet platform
- Assist in developing backend services and APIs
- Contribute to mobile and web application development
- Integrate APIs and third-party services under the guidance of senior engineers
- Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code
- Participate in testing, debugging and troubleshooting
- Fix bugs and improve existing application features
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests
- Use Git and follow the team’s development workflow
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Follow secure coding and data-protection practices
- Work closely with Senior Engineers, UI/UX Designers and other technology team members
- Assist with technical documentation
- Continuously learn and adopt new technologies and development practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field
- 0–2 years of professional software development experience
- Good understanding of programming fundamentals
- Familiarity with backend, web or mobile development
- Basic understanding of APIs and databases
- Familiarity with Git and version-control workflows
- Understanding of object-oriented programming and software-development principles
- Basic knowledge of testing and debugging
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and receive feedback
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Arabic & English communication skills
