Junior Staff Accountant

Duties and Responsibilities

• Enter customer transaction data into proprietary software
• Track and report fixed asset movement
• Track and report vehicle fuel usage
• Track and report facility energy usage
• Update proprietary software daily with customer transactions
• Support division management team where necessary
• Code and submit AP vouchers for processing
• Assist with regulatory and industry reporting
• Maintain customer reporting for specific customers and groups
• Maintain facility petty cash fund
• Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
• Assist with annual audit
• Assist with annual budget
• Assist with annual insurance renewal
• Prepare other reports for management
• Perform special projects as needed
• Perform cross training on other staff assignments
• Interact with others in a professional and ethical manner
• Follow department and company procedures
• Keep up regular attendance and punctuality; regular attendance and punctuality are essential for the smooth operation of this company
