Junior Systems Engineer
Overview

Responsibilities
- Support Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) in Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) of Fly-By-Wire (FBW) Ship Control Systems (SCS) for U.S. Navy submarines.
- Review engineering specifications, documents, drawings, and plans,
- Review system, software, and hardware test procedures.
- Witness Formal Qualification and System Acceptance Testing at land-based test facilities.
- Validate requirements.
- Perform Audits of computer software units.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, or Computer Science field.
- Have an active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
- Proven experience working with US Navy submarine.
- US Navy submarine Ship Control Systems.
- Computer programming
