Junior Technical Project Manager – Strategy & Operations

As a Junior Software Developer – Strategy & Operations, you will play a key role in developing digital tools, automating processes, and improving operational efficiency across AUTO1 Group's European markets.

Combining your programming skills, analytical mindset, and business understanding, you will work closely with international teams to develop practical solutions that support and optimize our daily operations.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Develop Innovative Solutions: Design and develop internal tools, applications, and prototypes to optimize business processes and improve operational efficiency across European markets.
• Drive Process Automation: Identify opportunities to automate workflows, streamline operations, and implement scalable solutions that enhance business performance.
• Lead Technical Projects: Coordinate the development, testing, and continuous improvement of internal tools, working closely with technology teams in Germany.
• Coordinate International Initiatives: Collaborate with different European markets and cross-functional teams to identify business needs, gather feedback, and translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Support Implementation and Improvement: Ensure the successful rollout of new tools and processes, providing training, documentation, and ongoing support to local teams.

We’re seeking bright, ambitious minds with a passion for strategy, problem-solving, and innovation.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

• 2-4 years of experience in strategic business development, consulting, or start-ups, with a proven track record of driving results.
• A background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical fields.
• Programming skills in TypeScript, Python, or Google Apps Script, with knowledge of frontend and backend development.
• Familiarity with tools and technologies such as GitHub, Docker, Google Sheets, Visual Studio, AWS, or Jenkins.
• Experience in process optimization, automation, or development of internal tools is a plus.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (additional languages are a plus).
