Job brief
Our client is a premier global innovator and manufacturer specializing in advanced online inspection systems, multi-spectrum technology, and intelligent sorting solutions. With a robust international presence, they deliver cutting-edge quality control systems to the world's leading food processing, packaging, and agricultural enterprises.
To support their rapidly growing, active client base and enhance their service capabilities across the entire Europe region, they are seeking a technically adept Technical Service Engineer. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical expertise and post-sales client satisfaction by supporting existing client resources within the food processing and machinery sectors. Your core responsibilities include providing hands-on technical guidance—such as installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and training—while undertaking a minor portion of sales responsibilities to drive business development and identify potential opportunities throughout the Europe market.
Responsibilities
- Complete on-site installation, commissioning, acceptance, and delivery support for client equipment at customer premises across Europe.
- Deliver equipment operation training, daily usage guidance, and basic maintenance training for end customers.
- Conduct after-sales repair work, fault diagnosis, problem locating, and on-site technical support.
- Timely report field equipment issues and collaborate with global headquarters' technical teams to drive issue resolution and closure.
- Support local project delivery, customer service, and other ad-hoc after-sales assignments as required throughout the Europe region.
- Undertake a minor portion of sales responsibilities by identifying customer needs during site visits to generate upgrades, spare parts, or new equipment opportunities.
Requirements
- Experience Level: Open to candidates with different experience backgrounds; new graduates with a strong technical mindset are also welcome.
- Education and Major: College degree or above. Majors in Electrical Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electronic Information, Automation Control, or other engineering disciplines are preferred.
- Technical Skills: Practical hands-on experience in equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance, after-sales service, or field technical support is advantageous.
- Travel Flexibility: Willing and available for frequent business travel within the Europe region; strong on-site execution capability and a customer-service mindset.
- Soft Skills: Positive personality, good communication skills, strong sense of responsibility, and capable of independently handling on-site technical issues.
- Language Proficiency: Able to communicate smoothly with global headquarters and overseas teams in English.
