Junior Technical Service Engineer(Machinery & Equipment)

About the Role

iLaser Pte Ltd is looking for a motivated Junior Technical Service Engineer to join our technical service team. This is an entry-level opportunity suitable for candidates starting their career in engineering and technical service. Fresh graduates and candidates with limited working experience are welcome to apply. Structured product and technical training will be provided.

The role provides hands-on exposure to 3D printers, laser machines, CNC equipment and other MAKER equipments, including installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, customer support and application guidance.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform installation, setup, testing and commissioning of equipment at the office or customer sites.

· Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic, software and equipment-related issues.

· Carry out preventive maintenance, repair and servicing work according to company procedures.

· Provide timely technical support to customers through phone, messaging, remote support and onsite visits.

· Conduct product demonstrations, basic user training and application guidance when required.

· Maintain accurate service records, case updates and technical documentation.

· Coordinate with sales, operations and warehouse teams on installations, service cases and replacement parts.

· Learn new products and technologies and complete required internal technical training.

· Escalate complex cases appropriately and communicate expected follow-up timelines to customers.

· Perform other reasonable technical duties related to the role when required.

Requirements

· NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation, Robotics or a related technical discipline.

· Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; prior industry experience is not required.

· Good hands-on aptitude and interest in machines, engineering equipment and troubleshooting.

· Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical or electronic systems is advantageous.

· Basic computer and software skills.

· Able to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues.

· Responsible, organised, willing to learn and able to follow technical procedures.

· Able to work independently after completing the required training.

· Willing to travel to customer sites within Singapore when required.
