Our centrally-located headquarters offers a vibrant environment, featuring an on-site restaurant and gym, not to mention the opportunity to connect with prospective colleagues from all over the world. As our Junior Transportation Manager, you keep our goods moving: from inbound shipments from China all the way to customers across marketplaces, waterdrop® stores and international partners. You make sure shipments are booked cost-effectively, delivered on time and in full (OTIF), and billed correctly. This is a hands-on execution role with real ownership. You will work closely with carriers, suppliers and internal stakeholders, and actively contribute to improving our transportation processes in a fast-growing international scale-up.

Your responsibilities at waterdrop®:

  • Compare and optimise transportation costs: Conduct cost analyses to compare transportation rates across carriers and freight channels.

  • Prepare shipping documents: Generate shipping labels for various carriers and prepare proforma invoices for shipments.

  • Review and approve transportation invoices: Verify invoices for accuracy, correct billing and alignment with contracted rates and services.

  • Manage China inbound shipments: Oversee inbound shipments, purchase orders and sales orders, and keep all related ERP records accurate and up to date.

  • Track KPIs and improve processes: Structure, monitor and report transportation performance data, prepare KPI-based analyses and present results in meetings. Review existing processes and drive improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Support Supply Chain projects: Coordinate special projects and ensure smooth execution in line with specifications.

Strengths and qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in transportation, logistics or a relevant operational role.

  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data and ERP systems.

  • Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.

  • Hands-on mentality and a high level of ownership.

  • Clear communicator who collaborates effectively across teams, carriers and suppliers.

  • Motivation to continuously improve processes and ways of working.

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

What we offer you:

  • A high-achieving, international community of waterdrop colleagues, located in a brand-new HQ in Vienna, Austria.

  • Development opportunities in one of the fastest-growing e-commerce companies in Europe.

  • MyClubs sports vouchers, to have a sporty balance.

  • In-house fitness centre.

  • In-house company doctor.

  • Subsidized healthy meals, for a break with your colleagues.

  • Discount on your waterdrop purchases.

  • Legendary summer and Christmas parties!

The minimum salary for this position is EUR 42.000 - 45.000 gross per year on a full-time basis. Depending on your qualifications, there is the willingness for overpayment.
