Job Description
We are looking for a Junior UX/UI Designer to support the design and development of user-centric digital experiences across a range of digital, AI-enabled, and technology projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with designers, researchers, developers, and project stakeholders to understand user needs, translate requirements into practical design solutions, and contribute to the end-to-end UX/UI design process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design user-centric digital experiences from user flows and wireframes through to high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes.
  • Translate business and user requirements into clear, functional, and visually engaging UX/UI solutions.
  • Create and maintain design components in accordance with established design systems and UI standards.
  • Use Figma to develop wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity interface designs.
  • Explore and apply AI-enabled design tools and emerging technologies to improve design workflows and productivity.
  • Apply fundamental UX principles, visual design standards, usability principles, and accessibility considerations across digital experiences.
  • Support user research activities, design workshops, usability testing, and documentation.
  • Assist with workshop preparation, facilitation, and documentation for clients and end users.
  • Conduct usability testing and incorporate user feedback to refine and improve designs.
  • Present design concepts and communicate design rationale clearly to internal teams and client stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with UX designers, researchers, developers, business stakeholders, and project teams throughout the design and development lifecycle.
  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and team members to continuously improve design outcomes.
  • Stay updated on UX/UI trends, design tools, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to internal design initiatives, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Manage assigned design tasks and timelines with guidance from senior team members.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in UX Design, UI Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Design, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of experience in UX/UI design, interaction design, or a related design role.
  • Fresh graduates and career switchers with a strong portfolio demonstrating relevant UX/UI design capabilities may also be considered.
  • Proficiency in Figma, including experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.
  • Knowledge of UX design principles, user-centred design methodologies, interaction design, and visual design fundamentals.
  • Understanding of design systems, reusable UI components, and design consistency.
  • Basic understanding of accessibility and usability principles.
  • Experience or interest in conducting usability testing and incorporating user feedback into design iterations.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or other design tools will be an advantage.
  • Interest in artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and AI-enabled design tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex requirements into simple and effective design solutions.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and develop design skills continuously.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to manage assigned tasks and timelines.
