Junior Video Editor
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
early-career professional to join the Communications team at YRG MERF as
a Junior Video Editor. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role centred on
editing podcast content and creating short-form videos for digital platforms. The
role involves working on ongoing content pipelines, including long-form podcast
episodes and their derivatives (reels, clips, and teasers), while ensuring
consistency, quality, and adherence to timelines. You will work closely with
the Communications team to translate briefs into clean, engaging video outputs.
This role requires a high level of reliability,
attention to detail, and responsiveness to feedback. Candidates are expected to
take ownership of assigned edits, follow through on revisions, and ensure
timely delivery without constant supervision. While the role is primarily
focused on execution, it offers valuable exposure to digital content
production, storytelling, and public health communication across areas such as
HIV, TB, and broader social development themes.
This position is best suited for someone at the
beginning of their career who is looking to build strong foundational skills in
video editing through consistent, hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.
